What types of courses are taught at the ULC?

 

Courses which have been offered include: English, Mathematics, History, Human Services, Computer Fundamentals, Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, Accounting, Sociology, Business, Speech Communications, Art Appreciation, Literature, Political Science, and Career Exploration.

Students who need to brush up on basic skills in English and Mathematics may take developmental courses which will increase their preparedness for college level courses. Another popular course is Strategies for College Success which orients students to the college experience and helps them explore academic majors, careers, and jobs.

Many of our students are taking classes to increase job skills and secure promotions at work. Courses for career enhancement include our computer classes , Accounting, Business, Human Services, Medical Terminology, and Early Childhood Education.
